Expecting There was nothing to the ceiling. Outside was different. Through her window Liara could see the sunlight reflected off the waves, flashes of life under the shallow waters hugging the coast. Inside was constant. These blank walls and their uniform furniture; a modern living space pristine and sterilised, all of the whites and silvers lit-up bright in the sun.
